Was a 28 year combined federal employee, US Government.

Currently, as an entrepreneur, I lead my company, focused on UAS/UAM/AAM education and consulting. I have a podcast, write for several magazines, lead a global awards program for women in drones, help run a large drone conference and elevate companies who are doing great things in the drone industry!

 

​What made you decide to pursue your chosen career path?​

Drones are my passion!

​What are the three key skills that are required for your job?​

 

Reading, Writing & Public Speaking.

What would you say is the biggest misconception about your job?​

 

That you need to major in journalism to be a good writer.

 

​What advice would you give to a school student who is interested in pursuing a career similar to yours?​

 

Follow your dreams.  Figure out what you love to do and what you are good at. If those 2 things match up, you will live out your purpose and your passion.

​If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?​

 

I would change the general lack of empathy and understanding for others who are not like "us" (however defined as a group) & increase respect for all.
