eVTOL Insights: London Conference 2022

eVTOL Insights is excited to reveal its first ever industry conference in London, which will feature speakers from some of the biggest companies in the eVTOL aircraft and urban air mobility markets.

The event will take place from Tuesday, January 11th to Wednesday January 12th, 2022 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Tower Bridge, situated near the iconic Tower of London.

Companies which have confirmed to attend as speakers include global aerospace and technology company Vertical Aerospace, urban air mobility community Flight Crowd, UK Research and Innovation and design, engineering and architectural design firm Atkins.

Airspeeder, the company behind EXA, its first electric flying car racing season, Bellwether Industries and eVTOL and drone insurance specialist Flock will also be attending and completing the initial line-up is electric aviation expert Darrell Swanson, who also contributes to NASA and the Community Air Mobility Initiative (CAMI). More companies will be announced soon.

Tickets cover the full conference where guests will be invited to an exclusive networking session in the hotel’s bar the day before, on Tuesday, January 11th. The evening will start at 7pm.

Wednesday’s agenda – which starts from 9am – 4.30pm and includes refreshments throughout – will feature a mix of presentations and panel discussions about battery development, certification, regulations, public acceptance and landing infrastructure. There will also be a focus on industry first movers and what the future holds for this growing market.

The conference will conclude with another evening of drinks in the hotel’s bar, providing an informal networking opportunity to make professional connections.

The Leonardo Royal in Tower Bridge has received recognition from ‘VisitBritain’ and the ‘World Travel & Tourism Council’ because it has adopted all of the reopening guidance put forward by ‘Public Health England’ and global standardised protocols.
